Prior to establishing IDEAL Construction Consulting Services, LLC, Burt Silver served as Vice President of Capri Engineering LLC and Capri Quality Assurance Consulting Services, LLC in Sunrise, Florida. There, he managed field operations, including a full scope of construction inspections, peer review services, QA and LP reports, private provider services and structure inspections for code compliance in lieu of municipalities.
Before his tenure at Capri Engineering, Burt provided full-service building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing inspection services for residential and commercial real estate transactions. He also consulted with owners for the resolution or mitigation of construction defects and appeared for dispute resolution on their behalf.
Burt received his Ph.D. from Syracuse University, New York. He did his undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University.
Burt and his wife have lived in Southern Florida for 25 years.
